Halloween Countdown

Well I got crazy again and saw this craft project on Good Things Utah and had to try it. It's originally from Imaginisce but I didn't use all their products for mine. But if you want to make one the instructions are on the website at http://www.imaginisce.com/ You start with just plain cardboard and then distresses it by ripping and inking. Then I used regular orange cardstock, orange patterned paper by Basic Grey, and checkerboard paper by Making Memories. I used my Cricut cutting machine to make the title and the numbers. I then used some Imaginisce rub ons and chipboard embellishments for the number squares (I did have to go by a 2 inch square punch since the largest I had was 1 1/4 inch). I also used MM embellies, like the sparkly tree, stars and bats. The envelope on the right is just a regular office envelope covered with cute paper and ribbons. I then used black star eyelets and tied with twine to hold it together. I did laminate the squares and put the sticky back Velcro dots on. Then I just put all the squares in the envelope and each day one of my kids can take out the correct number and add it to the board. The great thing is that after the month is over I can just fold it up and put it away.

Just a week goes by that I haven't looked at your blog and you have done a million projects... I'm happy with just being able to have my kitchen clean at night! (after the kid are in bed!)
